Data and Services
The Geosciences Node archives data related to the
study of solid-surface planets and satellites. Most of our data holdings are online for
viewing and downloading.
Click the links to the left to locate
data sets of interest. If the data set you want is not
online, contact us at
geosci@wunder.wustl.edu.
Searching for Data
at the Geosciences Node
Some data sets have customized search tools to help
you select and view data products.
The MER Analyst's Notebook
is the tool of choice for the serious user of Mars
Exploration Rover data. The Notebook integrates the data
sets with mission planning information and engineering
data to allow virtual "replay" of mission events.
Similar Analyst's Notebook tools are planned for future
landed missions such as Phoenix.
The
MRO CRISM
Spectral Library is a collection of laboratory
spectra of Mars-analog materials. The Library allows
searching of spectra based on the material
classification and other parameters.
The
Odyssey GRS Data Node at the University of
Arizona provides custom-generated GRS data products
tailored to the user's latitude-longitude and time range
specifications.
The
Mars Orbital Data Explorer (ODE) will enable searches for MRO data and other Mars orbital
data sets by selecting an area on a map or by specifying
detailed search criteria.
Downloading Data
Wherever you see links to
data files, you may download the files using your web
browser's "Save Target" function. If you want to
download many files, it's easier to do it using FTP.
